Dental Community Mourns Ground-Breaking Dental Educator and Researcher
Marjorie K. Jeffcoat, DMD, award-winning dental researcher, professor, and administrator, has passed away. A pioneer in the field, Jeffcoat was the first female editor in chief of the Journal of the American Dental Association and professor and dean emeritus of the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She was well known for her research on periodontitis and premature birth. Belmont Publications, Inc. sends condolences to her family.
