KEVIN W. LUAN, DDS, MS, MEd, is a board-certified periodontist and dental implant surgeon working in private practice in Chicago with an interest in advanced contemporary techniques in surgical periodontics and implant therapy. He is passionate about dental education and maintains a faculty position as a clinical associate professor at Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine and at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. A Health Professions Education Fellow at Johns Hopkins University, Luan also serves as a national dental board licensure examiner for the Commission of Dental Competency Assessments.
