OSAP Appoints Andrew Whitehead as interim executive director
The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) announces the appointment of Andrew Whitehead as interim executive director. He replaces Christina Thomas, who resigned her role as executive director of OSAP in February.
Effective March 30, Whitehead will step down from his role as chairman of the OSAP Foundation to assume the interim executive director role. Whitehead has been involved with OSAP since its inception, as a founding member of the organization, and continues to exhibit an enormous amount of passion and dedication to support OSAP’s ongoing efforts to further our mission. He will serve in this capacity as OSAP continues implementing its transition plan and comprehensive search to find a permanent executive director.
“We have a robust process in place to ensure stability and momentum throughout the transition and in addition to Mr. Whitehead’s interim support, OSAP and Meeting Expectations have engaged Mary Lynn Miller, MBA, CAE as Interim Director of Operations to further support the staff and day-to-day operations,” says Kathy Eklund, RDH, MHP, chairman, Board of Directors for OSAP.
