Ronald J. Heys, DDS, MS, is a tenured associate professor in the Department of Cariology, Restorative Sciences and Endodontics at the U-M School of Dentistry. He is a clinic director in comprehensive care and is involved in several longterm clinical trials of all-ceramic restorative materials.
Rania Livada, DDS, MS, is a prosthodontics implant fellow in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore. P. Mark Bartold, DDSc, PhD, is a professor emeritus at the University of Adelaide and formerly a professor of periodontics and director of the Colgate Australian Clinical Dental Research Centre at the University of Adelaide in Australia. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the Special Stream of Periodontics, and also a fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International, International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Bartold serves on Decisions in Dentistry’s Editorial Advisory Board, and is editor of the Australian Dental Journal and Journal of the International Academy of Periodontology. Morton Rosenberg, DMD, is a professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery, an associate professor of anesthesiology, and head of the Division of Anesthesia and Pain Control at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Mary R. Truhlar, DDS, MS, is a professor and dean of the School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook University in New York. She is a past chair of the Department of General Dentistry and director of the Division of Geriatric Dentistry at Stony Brook. Truhlar is the 2012 American Dental Education Association (ADEA) Alpha Omega Foundation Scholar and a fellow in the ADEA Leadership Institute. In addition, she oversees an Indian Health Services Grant and participates in a student service learning experience at Pine Ridge Hospital in South Dakota.
