Pramod Tadakamalla, BDS, MS, completed a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in India and Master’s Degree in Public Health at Western Kentucky University. He is currently working on a DDS degree at The University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
Joseph W. Evans, DDS, a graduate of Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee, is an associate professor of dental hygiene at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green. He has worked in private practice and public health, and his research interests include forensic dentistry, sports dentistry, dental radiology and abnormalities of the developing dentition.
Maritza Mendez, DMD, is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Dental Practice at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. She is the attending dentist and course director of dental anatomy in the university’s dental hygiene program, and also course director for medical and dental emergencies in the dental office.

Thomas G. Wilson Jr., DDS, is a clinical associate professor at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry in Dallas and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry. A periodontist practicing in Dallas, he is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and member of the International College of Dentists. Wilson is also editor in chief of Decisions in Dentistry.
Stephen C. Bayne, MS, PhD, is a professor emeritus in the Department of Cariology, Restorative Sciences and Endodontics at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor. He is a past president of the Academy of Dental Materials, American Association for Dental Research and IADR. Bayne’s clinical and laboratory research has been presented in more than 274 published abstracts, 136 articles and 498 research or continuing education presentations.
