Gülsün Gül, DDS, MBA, MPH, MS, is an assistant professor in the Division of Medicine, Department of Comprehensive Care, and director of the Medically Complex Patient Clinic at TUSDM. She also practices as a pediatric dentist and is a co-author of Dental Folio, a specialized tool to enhance dental professionals’ response to domestic violence.
Joanne Brewer Timmons, MPH, is the manager of the Domestic Violence Program at Boston Medical Center, where she is responsible for building a comprehensive program to coordinate and improve the hospital’s response to patients and employees experiencing domestic and sexual violence. She has presented extensively about the health care response to domestic violence.
Mansi Jailwala, MS, is a third-year dental student at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM) in Boston. Justine Kolker, DDS, MS, PhD, is an associate professor in the Department of Operative Dentistry at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where she teaches freshman and junior students and provides care in the faculty practice. Kolker has mentored dental students and graduate students in research on topics such as early caries clinical detection and root caries classification using the International Caries Detection and Assessment System.
Koren Goodman, MSEd, CHES, PhD, is an adjunct/visiting specialist in the Health and Nutrition Sciences Department within the College of Education and Human Services at Montclair State University in New Jersey. Her research interests include health services research, modeling and simulation in health care, mobile technologies and diabetes self-care behavioral management.
Kaprea F. Johnson, NCC, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Counseling and Human Services, College of Education at ODU. She is an expert quantitative methodologist interested in interprofessional collaboration and education among behavioral health and allied health professionals. Johnson’s published research focuses on allied health professionals’ perceptions of counselors and the use of technology in interprofessional education.
Denise M. Claiborne, RDH, PhD, is an assistant professor and graduate program director at the Gene W. Hirschfeld School of Dental Hygiene at Old Dominion University (ODU) in Norfolk, Virginia. Jewel Goodman Shepherd, MPA, CHES, PhD, is a visiting assistant professor in the School of Community and Environmental Health with the College of Health Sciences at Old Dominion University (ODU) in Norfolk, Virginia.
