Donald L. Chi, DDS, PhD, is a professor of oral health sciences and associate dean for research at the UW School of Dentistry. He is also a professor in the Department of Health Systems and Population Health in the School of Public Health. Board certified in pediatric dentistry and dental public health, Chi teaches graduate-level coursework in public health and his research focuses on children’s oral health inequities. He also spends time treating patients at the Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic in the Central District and the Othello neighborhood of Seattle. Chi can be reached at dchi@uw.edu.
Kirandeep Arora, DDS, BDS, is a periodontal resident at the UMKC School of Dentistry. Her research interests include bone graft materials and the membranes used to treat periodontal defects.
Vandana Kumar, DDS, MDS, MS, is an associate professor in the Department of Oral Pathology, Medicine and Radiology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Dentistry. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Kumar is vice president of the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Section of the American Dental Education Association. Her research interests include the application of cone beam computed tomography in implant dentistry and orthodontics.
Karen A. Schulze, DDS, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Reconstructive Dental Sciences at the Dugoni School of Dentistry. She is also director of research.
Bina Surti, DDS, is an associate professor in the Department of Integrated Reconstructive Clinical Sciences at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, University of the Pacific.
Phil Buchanan, DDS, is an associate professor in the Department of Integrated Restorative Clinical Sciences at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, University of the Pacific.
Warden H. Noble, DDS, MS, MSEd, is a professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the Dugoni School of Dentistry. He is also a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics.
Katherine Schrubbe, RDH, BSDH, MEd, PhD, is director of quality assurance at Dental Associates of Wisconsin and has been in dental education for more than 30 years, serving on the Marquette University School of Dentistry faculty as an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Clinical Services. She is an active member of the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention. Schrubbe has authored numerous articles on infection control, and speaks nationally on the subject.
