Jeffrey A. Rossmann, DDS, MS, is a professor and chair of the Department of Periodontics at Texas A&M University, Baylor College of Dentistry. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a fellow in the American College of Dentistry and International College of Dentistry. Rossmann also maintains a private practice dedicated to periodontics and dental implants in Dallas.

Helene Bednarsh, BS, RDH, MPH, is director of the HIV Dental Ombudsperson Program at the Boston Public Health Commission and dental director for the New England AIDS Education and Training Center in Boston. She is also vice president of HIVdent. Bednarsh received the American Dental Hygienists’ Association Alfred C. David A. Reznik, DDS, is chief of dental services for the Grady Health System in Atlanta. He also serves as director of the Oral Health Center in Grady’s Infectious Disease Program, which he founded 24 years ago. He has been providing oral health care services for people living with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) disease in the Atlanta metropolitan area for 29 years. Reznik is founder and president of HIVdent, a nonprofit organization of concerned health care providers committed to assuring access to high-quality oral health care services for those living with HIV disease. He is also a member of the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP).
Travis M. Hicks, DDS, MS, is a pediatric dentist practicing in Raleigh, North Carolina. His research interests include the study of adolescents at risk for eating disorders. Hicks has published papers on this subject in professional journals.
Michael W. Roberts, DDS, MScD, is a Henson Distinguished Professor in the Division of Pediatric and Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry. He has published more than 125 papers in professional journals and contributed to several dental text and reference books. Roberts' research interests include oral effects and management of eating disorders and the use of lasers in dentistry. He is a member of Dimensions of Dental Hygiene's Peer Review Panel. Sara G. Grossi, DDS, MS, is a periodontist who has been the principal investigator in multiple landmark studies on periodontal disease risk factors, and the relationship between periodontal disease and general health. An independent researcher and consultant, she lectures at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina.
Steven R. Call, DDS, MSL, is a professor and associate dean for clinical education at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine, Arizona. He also serves on the university’s Dental Instrument and Materials Committee and Handbook Committee.
