Larry Dormois, DDS, MS, is chair of Pediatric Dentistry and Community Oral Health at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry in Memphis. Board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, he is also a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American College of Dentists. Steven D. Bender, DDS, is a clinical assistant professor and director of facial pain and sleep medicine at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry in Dallas. Prior to joining the university, he maintained a private practice devoted to pain management of the head and face, as well as sleep disorders. Bender is a consultant to the U.S. Army and a past president of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain. He is also a diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain and has earned fellowship in the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, American Headache Society, International Academy of Oral Oncology and the American College of Dentists.
