Gayle B. McCombs, RDH, MS, is a professor in the School of Dental Hygiene at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. With more than 30 years of experience in academia, she was recognized with the University Professor Award for outstanding teaching, and the Gene W. Hirschfeld Award for faculty excellence. Richard O'Brien, BSEE, is an electrical engineer based in Seattle. Engaged in dental research, he has coauthored several papers related to anodizing titanium, especially related to implant components.
Blake Davis, DDS, MSD, is a boardcertified orthodontist practicing in Kirkland, Washington. An author and lecturer, he is a faculty member and researcher at the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Seattle.
Yasmin Wadhwani, is a junior at The Bear Creek School in Redmond, Washington. Involved in research in dental prosthodontics, she is contributing to several in-vitro studies relating to dental implant screw loosening effects and component fit.
Paul J. Caballero, BS, is an IT analyst and project coordinator with the Department of Educational Resources at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where he performs data mining used in research, publications and presentations. Caballero was a contributor to the textbook Fundamentals of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
J. Sean Hubar, DMD, MS, is a professor of oral and maxillofacial radiology in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans. practiced as a general dentist in Nova Scotia for 10 years before earning his Certificate of Specialty in Endodontics. A diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, he is a past president of the American Association of Endodontists. Roda practices in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he serves as an endodontic consultant to the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners, a visiting lecturer at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, and as associate editor of the Journal of Endodontics. Josephine Tran, DDS, MSD, obtained her doctorate in dentistry at the University of Montreal and completed an advanced training in Oral Medicine at the University of Washington and Oral Surgery Laval University. She is engaged in private practice in Montreal.
Edmond L. Truelove, DDS, MSD served as clinical chair at Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis, later becoming chair of Oral Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle, where he is currently a professor, clinical service chief and the senior clinician. Truelove has served as chair of the American Dental Association Council on Scientific Affairs and has published numerous scientific manuscripts.
