Nathaniel Lawson, DMD, PhD, serves as director of the Division of Biomaterials at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Dentistry, where he also directs the biomaterials residency program. A national and international lecturer, he was honored with the Stanford New Investigator Award and 3M Innovative Research Fellowship, both from the American Dental Association. A diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, he is a past president of the Minnesota Association of Endodontists and serves on the American Association of Endodontists’ Public and Professional Relations Committee and Annual Session Planning Committee. Doyle has authored multiple articles in scientific journals, as well as a chapter on the “Endodontic Applications of CBCT” in the upcoming textbook Maxillofacial Cone Beam Computed Tomography.
