Anders Nattestad, DDS, PhD, is a professor, director and interim cochair of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, University of the Pacific in San Francisco. He can be reached at anattestad@pacific.edu.

JoAnn Rover, RDH, MPA, is an associate professor and radiology coordinator in the Department of Dental Hygiene at Hostos Community College in Bronx, New York. She has served as a past trustee for the National Dental Hygienists’ Association. Rover was also a certified dental assistant for 10 years before becoming a dental hygienist in 1995.

Pamela Zarkowski, BSDH, MPH, JD, serves as provost and vice president for academic affairs at University of Detroit Mercy, where she is also a professor in the School of Dentistry, Department of Patient Management. Zarkowski lectures on multiple subjects, including topics related to cultural diversity, and has published extensively in the areas of legal and ethical issues for the health professions. Lori Rainchuso, RDH, MS, DHSc, is a professor at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University in Boston where she teaches in the Doctor of Health Sciences Program. With 20 years of experience in higher education, she enjoys advising students in graduate research and facilitating multidisciplinary courses. She has more than 25 publications in peer-reviewed journals and is a contributing author in the textbook, Wilkins’ Clinical Practice of the Dental Hygienist.
