Rodin Bond is the next generation
of dental adhesive systems.

Returning to the fundamentals and focusing on research are both profoundly significant in my dental journey. My experience in research began while completing a 2-year residency at Keesler Air Force Base, home to the United States Air Force Dental Research and Consultation Service. During this time, I conducted research on dental adhesive systems for government use.

This experience went beyond testing adhesive systems, it shaped my opinion around what constitutes a superior bonding agent. The principles I absorbed during my time with the US Air Force continue to guide me as I evaluate bonding agents in my practice today.

Enter Rodin Bond — a game-changing adhesive that perfectly aligns with my commitment to excellence in dental practice and laboratory work. This versatile, light-cured adhesive isn’t just a bonding agent, it’s a solution meticulously designed for both direct and indirect bonding applications, with a special focus on the demands of three-dimensional (3D)-printed restorations.

The incorporation of cutting-edge glass-filler technology, akin to the advancements in the Rodin 3D resin line, elevates its performance. This technology not only strengthens the hybrid zone but also deeply permeates dentin tubules, ensuring exceptional bond strength that surpasses conventional unfilled adhesive systems.

The transformative capabilities of Rodin Bond extend further when paired with SensiGuard, a two-in-one desensitizer and primer. This combination not only promotes bonding but also seals dentinal tubules, preventing sensitivity and reducing the risk of caries formation beneath the restoration.

The presence of a desensitizer the second you etch means that all the dentinal tubules are sealed, greatly reducing post-operative sensitivity, which is extremely useful. If you prep a crown, you don’t want the patient to need endodontic care, which is something that patients appreciate, too.

Rodin Bond stands out for its versatility — a quality that resonates deeply with me in my daily practice. From veneers to composites, this light-cured adhesive proves its mettle across various applications. The state-of-the-art flip-top cap design facilitates precise, single-handed adhesive dispensing, reducing waste and streamlining the clinical workflow.

Rodin Bond can be used for everything, from veneers to composites, basically anywhere you need the best bonding agent you can get. While some may note the return to a total etching system as an extra step, having to redo a procedure is easily an extra 10 steps. I think that’s where Rodin Bond shines. It’s a good bonding agent that you can trust for everything.

Rodin Bond is more than just a bonding agent, it’s a transformative tool that has become indispensable in my dental practice and laboratory. With exceptional features and Pac-Dent’s commitment to excellence, it has elevated my approach to modern dentistry, showcasing the reliability and versatility of this innovative adhesive, particularly in 3D resin applications.
