The two dental milling machines for laboratories and practices will be revealed for the first time at the AEEDC in Dubai, where vhf will be presenting the two powerful units at its booth.

The successful new design of the four-axis wet grinding machine N4+ and the five-axis dry milling machine K5+ produced by vhf immediately attracts attention. The new design of the machine embodies a modern, appealing look and is seamlessly integrated into the visual appearance of the vhf product portfolio. Dental technicians and laboratory staff can also benefit from an optimized performance. “Our new design has updated our proven and powerful N4+ and K5+ machines. You can see and feel the difference in the two bestsellers in our PERFORMANCE CLASS, and they also guarantee superb precision in every practice, dental laboratory or milling center. For example, the N4+ now has a water-cooled spindle, which ensures increased process stability and achieves first-class results even during continuous operation. vhf has also added a spindle to the K5+ that is over 60 % more powerful to further optimize the demanding processing of materials such as cobalt-chrome. In addition, both bestsellers feature a high-quality quadruple hybrid ceramic bearing for the integrated spindles. The result: a significantly longer service life of the spindle, higher surface quality and a noticeably improved precision fit of the milled workpiece.

Wet grinding and milling with extra cooling: the new N4+

The N4+ has demonstrated that it is a high-performance partner for laboratories and practice laboratories since 2020. This updated top seller stands out with a new machine design and impresses even the most demanding users in the wet processing of ceramic glass blocks, composites, zirconia and titanium abutments. The new watercooled spindle ensures the essential and improved process stability, even during continuous operation. The highly compact housing contains a powerful 800 W spindle that can operate at up to 80,000 rpm to guarantee a powerful and efficient wet processing of three blocks up to 45 mm long or three prefabricated abutments. Eight fine nozzles on the spindle direct the coolant to the effective area between the tool and workpiece with great precision and ensure an optimum cooling effect. No abrasive additives are required with the PUREWATER, apart from titanium machining. The proven machine technology in the highly compact housing and the familiar intuitive vhf DENTALCAM software with DIRECTMILL technology also ensure high precision, reliability and first-class results.
