Dental Assistants Recognition Week Is Coming in March

Dentistry has struggled to keep up with patient demand due to a shortage of dental hygienists and dental assistants. As such, the American Dental Association (ADA) is reminding its members to celebrate Dental Assistants Recognition Week March 5 to 11. The theme is “The ♥ of Dental Offices Through Education, Commitment, & Safety.” The ADA cites the importance of dental assistants in increasing productivity and ensuring patient satisfaction, and encourages dentists to celebrate this important member of the dental team.
