US Public Health Service Chief Dental Officer to Retire
Timothy L. Ricks, DMD, MPH, FICD, who has served as the United States Public Health Service Chief Dental Officer for the past 4 years, will retire at the end of August. Ricks oversaw the updated version of the Surgeon General’s Report on Oral Health and advised the offices of the Surgeon General and the Department of Public Health Service on the recruitment, retention, and career development of oral health professionals.
