FDA Bans Juul Vape Products, Court Puts Ban on Hold
On June 23, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) banned Juul from selling its electronic cigarette products after the company submitted an application to continue marketing its vaping products 2 years ago. The significant rise in teen use of e-cigarettes—which introduces another generation to nicotine addiction—has been a serious downside to vaping, which may benefit adult cigarette smokers in their efforts to quit smoking.
