Nerves That Facilitate Taste Also Open the Door to SARS-CoV-2
Research from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research found that the nerve fibers that pass information from the brain to the tongue, mouth, and throat also provide a port of entry for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
