Survey Evaluates Dental Providers’ Confidence Through COVID-19
Results of a study on dental practices and COVID-19—conducted through the National Dental Practice-Based Research Network—were presented at the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research Meeting and Exhibit on March 24. The survey results show that oral health professionals in the United States experienced reduced patient volumes, increased expenses, and decreased revenues due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Most respondents note that they feel somewhat to moderately confident of their practices’ viability over the next 2 years. Private practice dentists and hospital-based practitioners exhibit the lowest levels of confidence. The survey included more than 5,000 oral health professionals. Click here to read more.
