Alternative Medicine Modality May Improve Efficiency of COVID-19 Vaccine Delivery
The effectiveness of mRNA vaccines (such as those used to prevent COVID-19) is predicated on ensuring the vaccine reaches the cells without significant degradation. Scientists are now looking at whether the alternative medicine therapeutic, cupping, may help. Cupping is a centuries-old technique mainly used in the Middle East and China that involves placing heated cups on the skin, which causes suction to occur as the air under the cups cools. Alternative medicine practitioners suggest this supports healing. Scientists are investigating whether this action may help cells absorb vaccine. Click here to read more.
