Free ADA Webinar Offering Answers to Pressing COVID-19 Questions
Deadline is March 18 to submit questions for ADA/OSAP webinar on infection control.
The American Dental Association (ADA) is partnering with the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention in providing a free on-demand webinar on March 20, with content for the program based on questions the ADA has received from members looking for guidance while navigating the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Dentists are invited to submit their questions via survey. Dentists wanting to submit questions for consideration are asked to respond to the survey by noon Central time on March 18.
Questions will be collected and shared with two infection control experts: Eve Cuny, BA, MS, director of environmental health and safety and associate professor at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, and a contributor to Dimensions of Dental Hygiene, and Kathy Eklund, RDH, MHP, director of occupational health and safety and the Forsyth research subject and patient safety advocate at The Forsyth Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She is an adjunct assistant professor at the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and a Dimensions of Dental Hygiene Editorial Advisory Board member.
The speakers will review the questions and respond via a program that will be recorded and available for on-demand streaming later that day.
A notice will be posted on ADA.org/virus once the program is available; the ADA News will also carry that information. There is no need to pre-register for this webinar.
