Lauren B. Mirsky, RDH, BS, is a graduate student in the Department of Dental Hygiene at Idaho State University in Pocatello. In clinical practice for more than 30 years, she works as a public health dental hygienist in an Indian Health Service clinic in rural southeast Alaska.
Eduard Epure, DMD, MS, is an assistant professor in the Département de Dentisterie de Restauration of the Université de Montréal, in Quebec, Canada, where he teaches dental and postgraduate students.
Andrea Zandona, DDS, MSD, PhD, is a tenured associate professor in the Department of Operative Dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. In addition to serving on editorial boards and as a reviewer for numerous scientific and dental journals, she has published and lectured nationally and internationally on prevention and management of dental caries.
