Priscilla M. Flynn, RDH, MPH, DrPH, is an assistant professor in the Division of Dental Hygiene at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She cofounded the Network for Women’s Life and Health, a nonprofit serving low-resource women and their families in Southeastern Minnesota and Southwestern Wisconsin. Flynn’s research interests include adapting and testing psychometric properties of oral health literacy instruments and evaluating the effects of social determinants on oral health in immigrant and refugee populations. Her accolades include the American Academy of Periodontology’s Educator Award, Distinguished Teacher award, The David Moore Teaching Award, and the Elmer F. Pierson Excellence in Teaching Award. Orpheus L. Triplett, DDS, is an associate professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Community Oral Health at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry, where he serves as director of Community Relations and Outreach. Triplett has more than 20 years experience in private practice and has also served as dental director for Christ Community Health Services, a multisite federally qualified health center in Memphis.
Steven P. Hackmyer, DDS, practices pediatric dentistry in Tucson, Arizona. He previously held academic positions, including serving as chair of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Community Oral Health at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.
