DeLuke, DDS, MBA, is a professor and director of undergraduate oral and maxillofacial surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, where he has received multiple teaching awards. Brent Pen-Jin Lin, DMD, is a clinical professor in the Division of Pediatric Dentistry and director for the predoctoral pediatric dentistry program at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry. Founder and director of the Oral Health Alliance at UCSF, Lin’s awards and honors include the Pierre Fauchard Excellence in Education Award in 2006 and the Mentor of the Year Awards at UCSF School of Dentistry in 2009 and 2013. Roger M. Arce, DDS, MS, PhD, is an assistant professor of periodontics in the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. A diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology, his research interests include molecular host/pathogen interactions and the modulation of inflammatory responses in periodontitis, as well as computer-guided implant surgery systems.
Brent Johnson, BS, is a fourth-year dental student at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. Upon graduation, he will participate in a general practice residency program at the Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, North Carolina.
JACK D. GRIFFIN JR., DMD, is clinical director for the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum and has a large St. Louis County, Missouri, general practice emphasizing cosmetic dentistry. A diplomate of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry, he also has accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry. A lecturer and author, Griffin has published more than 50 articles in leading dental journals.
