Charles M. Cobb, DDS, MS, PhD, is a professor emeritus in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. A diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Cobb is retired after 15 years in private practice and 40 years as an academic.

Sandra Stramoski, RDH, MSDH, is an associate
professor in the Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University
of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She is also vice
president of the Southwestern Dental Hygienists’ Association.

Maria Emanuel Ryan, DDS, PhD, is vice president and chief dental officer for Colgate-Palmolive Co. Ryan previously served as professor and chair of the Department of Oral Biology and Pathology at Stony Brook University in New York, and is president-elect of the American Association for Dental Research. Ryan is a nationally and internationally known speaker and author.
Yu-Ting Yeh, DDS, received his doctorate at Taipei Medical University in Taiwan, where he also completed a two-year Post-Graduated Year program. He is now a periodontal resident at Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Apoorv Goel, BDS, MS, MSD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Periodontics at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee. He also maintains a faculty practice limited to periodontics and dental implants. He can be reached at agoel@mmc.edu.
