Marion C. Manski, RDH, MS, is an associate professor at the Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. She has been a dental hygienist for more than 34 years and was recognized as the 2016 “Mover and Shaker” in Decisions in Dentistry’s sister publication Dimensions of Dental Hygiene’s annual “Six Dental Hygienists You Want to Know.” Manski was honored in 2017 by the American Dental Hygienists’ Association with the Irene Newman Award. Theodoros Katsaros, DDS, MSD, is a clinical assistant professor and predoctoral periodontics director at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics in Iowa City. A diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, he can be reached at theodoros-katsaros@uiowa.edu.

Andrea Klein, BS, is pursuing her doctorate in dental medicine at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Crystal Kanderis Lane, RDH, MS, is an assistant professor in the Department of Dental Hygiene at Idaho State University and a practicing oral health professional of 15 years.

Kandis V. Garland, RDH, MS, is the dental hygiene program manager at College of Eastern Idaho in Idaho Falls. Her career spans 22 years as a dental hygienist and educator where she has served as clinic coordinator and health and safety coordinator. Her research, which she presents nationally, focuses on infection control. Garland is an active member of the Association for Dental Safety and Dimensions of Dental Hygiene’s Peer Review Panel. She is also a Dimensions Brand Ambassador.

Geraldine Weinstein, DDS, is an associate professor at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. She teaches both in the undergraduate Doctor of Dental Medicine curriculum and the Advanced Education General Dentistry Residency. Her interest is in computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing dentistry. Weinstein is also the editor in chief of Springer’s Clinical Dentistry Reviewed Journal.

Sergio Sanchez, DDS, is director of the University of Connecticut (UConn) School of Dental Medicine's Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program. He also provides care in the faculty practice.
