After reading this course, the participant should be able to:
- Provide a general definition of short and extra short dental implants, as well as potential clinical benefits of these appliances.
- Discuss clinical applications for short and extra short implants.
- Explain survival rates for extra short implants, as well as the potential affect of bone levels in patients with short implants compared to longer implants.
