After reading this course, the participant should be able to:

  1. Identify the key clinical and radiographic features of silent sinus syndrome (SSS) relevant to dental practice.
  2. Discuss the implications of SSS on dental treatment planning, including orthodontic, surgical, and implant considerations.
  3. Recognize the importance of early detection and appropriate referral to improve functional and esthetic outcomes in patients with SSS.
