In an effort to provide a broader portfolio of laser-based solutions to dental practitioners, Biolase has entered into a development and distribution agreement with IPG Medical, a leader in optical fiberbased lasers. The partnership covers several projects in various stages of development, as the two firms combine their expertise and capabilities to improve existing technologies and develop new dental lasers, accessories and applications. Biolase will have exclusive distribution rights for the resulting products over a multiyear term.
