Clerri Names Healthcare Technology Pioneer Jim Higgins as New CEO
Mr. Higgins succeeds Dave Monahan, the founder and CEO of Kleer, which merged with Membersy in 2024. Mr. Monahan served as CEO of Kleer and Membersy, which rebranded as Clerri this past summer, until transitioning to an Advisor and Board Observer in November 2025.
“We are delighted to welcome Jim Higgins as Clerri’s next CEO,” said Alan Press, who joined the Clerri Board of Directors in April 2025. Mr. Press served as the company’s interim CEO during the rigorous search for a permanent leader. “Jim’s proven leadership in scaling technology platforms that enhance the provider-patient relationship will be vital as we continue to grow our Care Membership Platform into a reliable revenue source across the entire healthcare industry.”
Mr. Higgins brings decades of experience to Clerri, including as an innovator in the Patient Relationship Management (PRM) space, making him uniquely suited to advance Clerri’s mission of optimizing access to care for all. He most recently led Solutionreach, the industry’s leading PRM platform, as its founder and CEO, where he focused on empowering healthcare providers to foster patient loyalty and improve outcomes through personal, simple, and effective digital tools. He has also served as Vice President of Sales at Ancestry.com, overseeing and directing all sales and service channels.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Higgins stated, “I am honored and excited to join Clerri at such a pivotal time. I look forward to leading the team as we accelerate our mission to reduce reliance on restrictive insurance plans and deliver exceptional value to our customers by optimizing access to quality healthcare for more patients.”
This announcement follows recent initiatives from Clerri, including the release of the Bridge to help dental practices streamline membership management and increase patient enrollments directly within their existing practice management software, integrating more AI and data analytics to showcase the tangible impact of membership plans, and a new study from a DSO on how dental membership plans prove better than insurance.
