Organization Providing Free Dental Care Across the Nation Seeks Volunteers
The Dental Lifeline Network, established in 1985, has delivered more than $532 million in donated dental care, impacting the lives of nearly 170,000 individuals. The network, relying on 13,472 volunteer oral health professionals and 3,315 laboratories, addresses the oral health needs of vulnerable communities, including veterans, people with disabilities, and older adults. A new campaign has launched to attract additional oral health professional volunteers so the organization can continue to provide free comprehensive dental treatment.
