A Dentist and an Endodontist Open a Candy Shop in Seattle

Oh, the irony! General dentist Ty Etheridge, DDS, and endodontist Jake Weissman, DDS, MSD, recently opened a candy shop named Mad Candy in the Madrona neighborhood of Seattle. Filled with glass jars of various confections, the brightly decorated establishment evokes memories of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The two dental professionals, who both live in the neighborhood, wanted to add some fun to the area while also offering teenagers their first opportunity at employment. The entire roster of employees comes from Etheridge’s patient pool. While both Etheridge and Weissman are dedicated to promoting oral health, they do enjoy a sweet treat once in a while.
