University of Texas Addresses Dental Workforce Shortage by Launching New Dental Hygiene Program
On August 9, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the University of Texas Education and Research Center in Laredo to mark a significant milestone. The occasion celebrated the introduction of Laredo’s inaugural Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree program. This program is made possible through a collaboration with the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry. The program will host a dental clinic that will offer low-cost dental care. The first class started this past July. Click here to read more.
