0

The Family Health Centers at New York University (NYU) Langone has added four dental clinics in Queens to its School-Based Health Program. The program already operates full-service healthcare centers at schools in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Staten Island. The four dental clinics will serve more than 1,500 middle-school students who face barriers to accessing dental care. Oral health professionals who staff the clinics will provide exams, X-rays, prophylaxes, fluoride treatment, dental sealants, restorative care, extractions, and emergency dental care. Funding for the clinics is provided through government and private donations. Click here to read more.
