Survey Shows Many Patients Discuss Cost of Care With Providers

In a survey of 370 dental patients, more than 65% reported discussing cost of treatment with their dental providers during their past appointment. The conversations reportedly took place more often with dentists as compared to dental hygienists. Cost is one of the most significant barriers to professional dental care in the United States.
