Vermont Dental Hygiene School Implements Strategies to Address Dental Hygienist Shortage
The state of Vermont is experiencing a shortage of dental hygienists, and the Dental Hygiene Program at Vermont Technical College is trying to fill this void. The school, which graduated 16 dental hygienists in May, is hoping to attract more students to its program by raising awareness of the need for dental hygienists and shortening the curriculum from 3 years to 2 years.
