CDA Suggests Dental Practices Continue Masking

In the state of California, mask wearing remains required in all healthcare settings, dental practices included. While other states have relaxed such masking requirements, the California Dental Association (CDA) asserts that enforcing existing mask rules and encouraging masks even if not required are sound business moves. As properly donned masks can help reduce the spread of infectious disease, including COVID-19, the CDA notes that dental practices without masking requirements may see losses in productivity and income, as well as jumps in insurance premiums.
