Some Americans Ready to Move On, While Others Worry About Lifting COVID-19 Restrictions

A Kaiser Family Foundation poll demonstrates that half of respondents believe that returning to pre-pandemic habits will be safe by the end of spring, while 26% will wait an additional year before resuming normal life. One in five will continue to mask up in public places and remain vigilant to prevent infection with the novel coronavirus. Results also showed that the global pandemic is no longer a top issue for voters: economy/inflation (91%), voting rights (84%), and foreign policy (83%) are the topics voters will base their decisions on.
