While Mask Mandates Fall in Some States, They Remain Intact for Healthcare Providers
Better days are ahead as the number of new COVID-19 cases continues to drop across the United States. In response, some states—including California—are beginning to loosen or strike down indoor mask mandates. On February 16, vaccinated Californians will no longer need to don masks inside. However, this change does not apply to healthcare providers—including dental practices—as well as long-term care facilities, schools, public transportation avenues such as buses and trains, correctional facilities, homeless shelters, and emergency shelters.
