WHO Members Collaborate on Plan to Manage Future Pandemics

Members of the World Health Organization (WHO) are banding together to create a strategic plan to handle future global pandemics. The decision was ratified with a vote by the World Health Assembly on December 1. It signals a willingness among countries to work together on an effective pandemic plan after the experience with COVID-19 shed light on systemic flaws in the global health response.
