Number of Breakthrough COVID-19 Infections Is Higher Than Originally Thought
New data demonstrate the number of COVID-19 infections among vaccinated individuals is higher than initially anticipated. In California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Oregon, Utah, Vermont, and Virginia, breakthrough cases account for one in five newly diagnosed COVID-19 infections.
