Israelis Over 60 to Receive COVID-19 Booster Shot

Public health officials in Israel have decided to offer a third COVID-19 vaccine as a booster to all fully vaccinated residents age 60 and older over growing concern about the highly contagious Delta variant.  The United States has yet to recommend booster shots for those who have already been vaccinated against COVID-19. Israel’s initial vaccination program was hugely successful with more than 80% of Israelis age 40 and older already vaccinated. Click here to read more.
