CDC Says All Schools Should Reopen This Fall

The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is expected to issue a new directive stating that all schools should reopen this fall even if they can’t meet all of the recommended COVID-19 safety guidelines such as maintaining social distancing. The organization cites a plethora of downsides to virtual learning experienced by many American children including learning losses and increases in mental health problems.
