Immunity Gained From COVID-19 Vaccine May Be More Effective Against Variants Than Infection-Generated Immunity
New research from the National Institutes of Health has found that the immunity acquired from COVID-19 vaccination seems to be more adept at creating antibodies to a wide spectrum of SARS-CoV-2 variants than the immunity gained post-COVID-19 infection. These results suggest that individuals who have recovered from COVID-19 have varying degrees of antibody protection and should also get immunized against the novel coronavirus. The study results were published in Science Translational Medicine. Click here to read more.
