
Specific Side Effects Post-Vaccination Suggest Previous COVID-19 Infection
Individuals who have received a COVID-19 vaccination report a variety of reactions—from no symptoms at all to fatigue and lethargy to fever and swollen lymph nodes. A new study published in medRxiv suggests that those who experience swollen lymph nodes, fever, fatigue, and muscle and joint pain may have been previously infected with SARS-CoV-2. The study, which included more than 970 healthcare providers in the United Kingdom who were surveyed following their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccination, found that those who reported such symptoms were more likely to have tested positive for COVID-19 before they were vaccinated.
