Those younger than 18 who get a COVID-19 shot are eligible to win one of five full college scholarships. Since the lotteries were introduced, Ohio’s vaccination rate is up 28%. On May 25, Maryland will begin offering a $40,000 prize every day to vaccinated residents through July 3. New York has also introduced a $5 million lottery open to New York residents who get vaccinated between May 24 and May 28.
