New Checklist Available to Help Implement Guidelines on Dental Practice Reopening
The Organization for Safety, Asepsis, and Prevention (OSAP) has created a new, living document to help oral health professionals implement the guidelines for the safe reopening of dental practices provided by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, American Dental Association, American Dental Hygienists’ Association, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The checklist, Best Practices for Infection Control in Dental Practices During the COVID-19 Pandemic, is “living” in that it will be continually updated as new information becomes available or new guidelines are released. The creation and distribution of this checklist were made possible through educational funding provided by DentaQuest Partnership for Oral Health Advancement.
