SBA Issues Additional Guidance on the Paycheck Protection Program
The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)—the federal government’s main effort to help small business owners weather the devastating economic effects of COVID-19—has left many with more questions than answers. In response, the Small Business Administration released a new document, “Business Loan Program Temporary Changes; Paycheck Protection Program—Additional Eligibility Criteria and Requirements for Certain Pledges of Loans,” on April 15 to clarify certain aspects of the program.
The clarifications most relevant to dental practices include further information on the total amount of the PPP loan that can be forgiven and the role of business partners in applying for the PPP. Click here to read more.
