International Infection Prevention Week Kicks Off October 14
Oral health professionals are encouraged to help raise awareness of the role infection prevention plays to improve patient and clinician safety during International Infection Prevention Week, Oct. 14–20.
This year’s theme, “Protecting Patients Everywhere,” is a time for health care professionals to share messages about patient and provider safety, and recognize the work of all team members who contribute to infection prevention efforts. The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology provides several resources for clinicians to share with patients.
