Courtney Routh, RDH, MSDH, is an assistant professor in the Dental Hygiene Program in the Department of Periodontics and Dental Hygiene UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry. Prior to entering academic, she worked in clinical practice for 17 years. Her teaching responsibilities include periodontology and overall oral disease prevention. Routh currently serves as the programs chair for the Greater Houston Dental Hygienists’ Association and is actively engaged in faculty service at the UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry.
Mark Vaughan, BDS, DDS, FDS RCS, MSc, MOrth RCS, is the program director for the 3-year predoctoral orthodontic course and course director for three-dimensional imaging, temporomandibular joint, and airway courses for orthodontic residents at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A Dugoni, School of Dentistry. He is also the coprogram director of the Dental Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program, clinical director of the Pacific Sleep Clinic, and course director for predoctoral and orthodontic resident dental sleep medicine courses also at Dugoni School of Dentistry.
Sharon Su, DMD, is a third-year orthodontics resident at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. She has published research on dental public health, dental education, and artificial intelligence. Su’s current research interests focus on adolescent populations and effects of degenerative changes on craniofacial structures.
Nicholas Zusman, DDS, is a resident in the Department of Veterans Affairs at the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System in California. His professional interests include both orthodontics and prosthodontics. Zusman can be reached at n_zusman@u.pacific.edu.
Toshiki Nagai, DDS, MSD, FRCDC, is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis. A national and international presenter, his professional interests include prosthodontics, implant dentistry, and digital workflows.
Leanne A. Miele, BSc, MSc(c), DMD(c), is a student in the Doctor of Dental Medicine and Master of Science programs at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. She has been involved in research spanning molecular neuroscience and clinical studies.
Karen L. Berrigan, DMD, MS, is a clinical assistant professor at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona, in the orthodontic clinic. A board-certified orthodontist, she is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Troy Schmedding, DDS, AAACD, maintains a private practice in Walnut Creek, California. An accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, he lectures both nationally and internationally on esthetics and restorative materials. Schmedding also serves as a key opinion leader for numerous manufacturers helping develop and bring new products to market.
