Laura J. Southwick, MA, is an adjunct instructor for Weber State University at the Northern Utah Academy for Math, Engineering, and Science in Layton, Utah. She teaches academic writing and research.

Shannon W. Smith, MEd, RDH, is an assistant professor in the Dental Hygiene Program at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, where she works as second-year clinical coordinator.
