Peter Schupbach, PhD, is an adjunct professor at Augusta University in Georgia, and author of more than 100 peerreviewed publications in the fields of implantology, bone substitutes, tissue regeneration, oral microbiology and oral pathophysiology. He runs a service and research laboratory for biomaterials, implants, histology and imaging in Thalwil, Switzerland.
Glenn Canares, DDS, MSD, is a clinical assistant professor and clinical director of pediatric dentistry for the Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore. The American Association of Endodontists is a global resource for knowledge, research and education for the profession, members and the public. Endodontists are specialists in saving teeth. They have additional training and use specialized techniques and technologies to perform root canal treatment and diagnosis and treat tooth pain. While all endodontists are dentists, less than three percent of dentists are endodontists.

Kristin K. McNamara, DDS, MS, is an assistant professor in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She has published multiple refereed articles and abstracts, and is a peer reviewer for several scholarly journals.
John R. Kalmar, DMD, PhD, is a clinical professor in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in Columbus. He is a director of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and a past president of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology. Kalmar recently served on the American Dental Association expert panel to review and assess adjuncts for the detection and assessment of potentially malignant oral disorders.
